Your Couples Photographic Experience
A Preparation Guide
We're so happy to welcome you to Noran Shine Studio.
This experience is an invitation to slow down and honor your connection — not just how you look together, but how it feels to be together in this season of your life. Whether you're celebrating an anniversary, a new chapter, or simply choosing to document your relationship with intention, these portraits are created to reflect your story and become meaningful art in your home.
Our role is to guide you through every step so the experience feels relaxed, natural, and enjoyable — never forced or awkward.

Preparing for Your Experience
Reflect on What You're Celebrating Together
Before your session, take a moment to reflect as a couple.
What defines this chapter of your relationship right now? Is it the ease you've found together, the laughter you share, the strength of what you've built, or the quiet closeness that comes with time?
You don't need to put this into words perfectly — this reflection simply helps us create portraits that feel honest and true to you.
What to Wear
Your clothing should feel like you — coordinated, comfortable, and timeless.
We'll provide more detailed styling guidance ahead of your session, but here are a few principles to keep in mind:
- Choose 3–4 coordinated outfits that feel authentic to your relationship
- Focus on neutral tones, soft textures, and classic silhouettes
- Avoid large logos, busy patterns, or neon colors
- Try everything on in advance to ensure comfort and fit
Bringing an extra outfit is always a good idea in case we decide to explore additional looks during the session.

Meaningful Details (Optional)
If there's something small that feels meaningful to you — a piece of jewelry, a letter, or an object connected to your story — you're welcome to bring it. These details are never required, but they can add depth to your portraits when used thoughtfully.
The Day Before Your Session
- Review and pack your outfits and any personal items
- Iron or steam clothing so everything looks polished
- Get a good night's rest
- Approach the session as a shared experience — relaxed, intentional, and enjoyable
