Your Child's Performers Photographic Experience
A Preparation Guide
We're so happy to welcome you and your child to Noran Shine Studio.
This experience is about more than documenting an activity — it's about honoring your child's dedication, discipline, creativity, and the unique spark they bring to what they love. Whether your child is an athlete, dancer, musician, or performer, these portraits are created to celebrate who they are in this moment of their journey.
Our goal is for your child to feel confident, supported, and proud — not just of achievements, but of the effort, passion, and growth that happen behind the scenes.
This guide will help you and your child feel prepared, relaxed, and excited for the experience ahead.

Preparing for the Experience
Reflect on What This Chapter Means
Before the session, take a moment with your child to talk about what they love most about what they do.
- What are they proud of?
- What makes them feel strong, focused, or joyful?
- What do they want to remember about this stage of their journey?
These conversations help us create portraits that feel authentic and meaningful — not posed or forced.
What to Bring
We recommend bringing 1–3 outfit options, depending on your child's activity and age:
- Performance or sports uniform / costume
- Practice or training outfit
- A simple, casual look that reflects who they are off the field or stage
Outfits should be clean, wrinkle-free, and comfortable. Please remove any visible tags or stickers in advance.
Need Help Deciding?
If you're unsure about any outfits, I'm here to help!
Text me photos of your options — or even better, lay them out so I can see how the colors and textures play together. If you've created a Pinterest board or moodboard, I'd love to see it! It helps me align your styling with your vision and prepare accordingly.

Meaningful Items & Accessories
Small details often tell the biggest part of the story.
You're welcome to bring items that represent your child's journey, such as:
- Medals, trophies, ribbons, or awards
- Equipment or instruments they use regularly
- Team jackets, warm-ups, dance shoes, or practice gear
- Personal items that bring confidence — a lucky wristband, water bottle, or charm
These aren't props — they're symbols of commitment, growth, and milestones.
The Day Before Your Session
- Review outfits and equipment together
- Make sure everything is clean and ready
- Gather any meaningful items so nothing is forgotten
- Encourage hydration and a good night's rest
- Talk positively about the session — let your child know this is a fun, relaxed experience where they can simply be themselves

The Day of the Session
Fuel Up
A light meal and water before arriving help keep energy steady. We'll also have snacks and beverages available at the studio.
Arrive Ready to Enjoy
Arriving on time allows your child to settle in, get comfortable, and enjoy the experience without rushing.
From the moment you arrive, we focus on helping your child feel confident and supported. The session is calm, encouraging, and playful when needed — designed to bring out their natural personality and passion.
Trust the Process
Your child does not need to know how to pose or perform for the camera.
We guide them gently through movement, posture, and expression so everything feels natural. One of the most exciting moments for kids is seeing their portraits appear on the screen during the session — it builds confidence and makes the experience even more fun.

Time Commitment
Please plan to spend up to 2.5 hours at the studio. This includes:
- The photographic session
- A cinematic presentation of your child's portraits
- A guided design consultation to select favorites
The pace is relaxed and designed with children in mind.
Same-Day Viewing & Ordering
Your image presentation and ordering appointment takes place right after the session.
We'll help you choose portraits and design finished artwork — wall pieces, albums, or keepsakes — created to celebrate your child's passion and live beautifully in your home.
Orders are finalized and placed the same day.
Studio Location
Our studio is located in a private residential home in Lithia, Florida, dedicated to photographic experiences.
