On the day of your session, all we ask is that you arrive on time and ready to be present. We'll take care of the rest. Nothing is rushed. The experience is intentionally paced so you can enjoy every step and leave feeling confident in what you've created.

Can I bring someone with me?

While we do occasionally work on location, the majority of our sessions take place in our Lithia studio — and very intentionally so. Our studio is a carefully curated environment designed to help you feel comfortable, confident, and fully supported. From professional lighting and versatile backdrops to our client wardrobe, beauty station, and calm atmosphere, everything is thoughtfully prepared to create a seamless experience. Most importantly, the focus remains on you — your story, your emotions, and the connection we're capturing — without the distractions that often come with outdoor or public locations. This allows us to create portraits that feel timeless and deeply personal. That said, if there's a special reason to photograph elsewhere, or if travel to the studio is difficult, we're always happy to discuss options and find the best solution for your experience.

What if I'm nervous or uncomfortable in front of the camera?

Our preparation conversations help us get to know each other ahead of time, which naturally eases nerves and creates a sense of trust before you ever step in front of the camera. During the session, you'll be gently guided through flattering poses, supported by professional hair and makeup and carefully crafted lighting designed to bring out your best. You'll also have the opportunity to see your portraits on screen as we go. Most clients are surprised by how quickly they begin to relax once they see how beautiful the images look from the very beginning. You don't need to know how to pose or feel confident walking in — that's part of our job. We'll guide you every step of the way.

How does the viewing and ordering appointment work?

Your portrait experience includes a guided image viewing and ordering consultation, which is typically scheduled right after your session. In some cases, this appointment may take place within five business days of your photoshoot. During this appointment, you'll view your portraits, select the images you love, and design your finished artwork with our guidance. Because decisions are made at this time, we kindly ask that all decision-makers be present. Only the portraits you choose and purchase are delivered. To maintain our workflow and archive standards, all unpurchased images are permanently deleted 30 days after your ordering appointment. If you wish to place additional orders or request reorders, this can be done within 30 days of your session. This process allows us to provide a focused, intentional experience while ensuring every client receives the highest level of care and attention.

Many clients choose to invest in wall art or fine art prints to fully experience the beauty, presence, and lasting impact of their portraits beyond the screen. After that period, session fees become non-refundable, as time and team members are reserved specifically for you. All artwork and products are custom-designed and made to order. Once your selections, design details, and retouching preferences are confirmed and your order is placed, production begins. For this reason, all product orders are final and non-refundable. We work closely with professional fine-art labs to ensure every piece is produced with care and meets our quality standards — worth the wait.
