Today I asked my son to pose for me. I wanted to check new location and some new techniques. I promised him a movie after this, and he said that he allows me to take 2 photos. If I wasn’t his mother and if I was an unknown photographer for him, probably he would agree on 3.
And the truth is - many kids hate posing. And here comes the game. Tossing pinecones, splashing the water in the pond with the stick, running around the tree. So many fun things to do. And so many great photos to make. After that he gave me two shoots looking at the camera. I was satisfied. I was able to catch the emotions, and for me it’s much more important then poses.
